Klear Karma privacy
Privacy policy.
This beta policy explains what Klear Karma collects, why it is used, and how seekers and practitioners can ask for support or deletion.
Effective date: 2026-06-03
This policy covers Klear Karma, an invite-led beta app for reflective support discovery and practitioner booking. Klear Karma is operated for the app named "Klear Karma." For privacy questions, contact hello@klearkarma.com.
What Klear Karma collects
Klear Karma may collect or process these categories of data when you use the beta:
- Account and contact data, such as account identifiers, email or OTP contact details, role, and support requests.
- Profile data, such as name, city, country, support preferences, practitioner profile fields, services, availability, offerings, and verification metadata.
- User content, such as Mirror answers, seeker map summaries, consent choices, messages, reviews, practitioner notes, uploaded credentials, avatars, offering assets, and support attachments.
- Location data when you choose nearby discovery, plus manual city or location fields when you enter them.
- Booking, payment test-mode, Mirror token wallet, recharge order, ledger, payout request, and operational review records.
- App activity, diagnostics, support events, server logs, and audit events used to operate and protect the beta.
How data is used
Klear Karma uses data to operate accounts, Mirror onboarding, consent-safe seeker maps, practitioner discovery, booking, messaging, support, practitioner review, beta operations, security, and debugging. Mirror context is separated between seeker and practitioner systems. Practitioner-facing context should use consent-safe summaries, not raw private seeker answers.
Location and audio
Location is requested only when a user chooses nearby discovery, and the app keeps a manual location fallback. The beta uses audio playback for Mirror onboarding ambience. The Android app should not request microphone recording permission unless a future feature explicitly records user audio and presents a clear in-app reason.
AI boundaries
Mirror is reflective and support-oriented. It does not diagnose, prescribe, treat, predict outcomes, provide emergency support, or replace professional care. Optional symbolic context is consent-gated and should remain lightweight.
Sharing
Klear Karma shares data only as needed to operate the beta, such as with service providers for hosting, storage, authentication, payments, support, analytics, or app distribution. Klear Karma does not sell personal data. Practitioner summaries and Mirror context should be shared only through consent-aware product flows.
Security and retention
Klear Karma uses access controls, private upload paths, authentication tokens, and operational audit records to protect beta data. Data is retained while needed to operate the account, booking, support, safety, compliance, and beta-review workflows, unless deletion is required sooner.
Deletion and access requests
Users can request account deletion, data access, or correction by emailing hello@klearkarma.com or using in-app Help & support. Some records may be retained where needed for safety, fraud prevention, payment records, dispute handling, legal obligations, or audit integrity.
Children
Klear Karma is not intended for children. Beta access should be limited to adults or users old enough to consent under the laws that apply to them.
Changes
This policy may change as the beta matures. Updated versions should be posted at the public privacy-policy URL used in App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
